Default A Year Already (A little over actually)

So while looking through the old messages, it occurred to me that this message board silently reached its first year of existence. Actually it reached it on May 28th but lets not worry about details. Hard to believe its been a year already. Hopefully the next year see's a lot more information coming from Vigil/THQ.

In the spirit of this occasion, lets recap all the new information we have gathered about Warhammer 40k in the last year.

1. Its still being made.
2. Its on schedule to be released in 2010 or 2011.

Surprised I could keep all the new info in one post. /sarcasm

Yes there hasnt been much in the way of information but I feel that has more to do with Vigils push to get Darksidders completed and out to the masses so that they can put more of a full time effort into getting Warhammer 40k Online completed. Once any new information does get released, I will definately be sure to post it and keep you all up to date. Until then, I am also working on an Army builder/list to incorporate into your account here for those of you who are also tabletop players like myself. Keep an eye out for an update on that in the weeks to come.

Congrats Warp!

I believe Vigil has crews for both games they are developing. Just that they are playing it safe with the media and not releasing any info on the game.

Darksiders as been pushed back to early 2010 when it was suppose to be release in Jan 09 and the Darksiders dev team will be starting Darksiders 2 planned to be release in fiscal 2012. Hope the same doesn't happen to War 40K, THQ only has the rights to GWs IP until 2013, would be a shame to put all that work into a game just to have its license pulled.

Very cool about the army builder. /cough why havn't we seen your army in the pics thread

Yeah, it has been a very slow year for news for this game. I think it is likely that we will hear more about this project towards the end of the year or very early next year at least. Outside of the high-res concept art on Vigil's site, I think the next big thing we are likely to see is an official site of some sort for the game itself, barring the release of additional concepts, renders or the like.

Lots to look forward to over the next 2-3 years.
