Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online's latest gameplay trailer released at GamesCom 2010 announces the game's first playable race. The Imperium of Man. Freaking awesome is all I can say.
Eurogamer has released and interview with Danny Bilson of THQ on all the upcoming Warhammer 40k games including Space Marine, 40k Online, the Dawn of War 2 expansion, and even a little bit about Dawn of War 3. While there isnt a lot of information given, here are few tidbits I got from the interview pertaining to Dark Millennium Online:

Kotaku has just posted their hands-off preview of Space Marine. While there isn't a lot of details, it does touch base on a few of the features. The key thing they discussed was that the game will feature both long range shooting and up close melee combat. While it states they encourage players to try both options, I would hope that we are not forced to do melee if we are the type that likes shooting from a distance and vice-versa.
